Product Introduction
Sintered Mullite is a high-quality refractory raw material and the only stable binary compound in the Al₂O₃ - SiO₂ system. It exhibits a Mohs hardness of 6-7 and excellent fire resistance up to 1800 ℃. Sintered Mullite is produced through a wet homogenization process and subsequent high-temperature calcination. Its alumina content varies between 45% and 75%, with main variants including M45, M60, and M70 sintered mullite.
Sintered Mullite 3-5mm is a high-performance refractory aggregate designed for demanding high-temperature industrial applications. Manufactured from selected high-purity alumina and silica raw materials through controlled high-temperature sintering processes, the product offers excellent thermal stability, low thermal expansion, and strong resistance to thermal shock. Its dense crystal structure and low impurity content help maintain reliable performance under continuous heating conditions. The Sintered mullite material is widely used in refractory bricks, kiln linings, furnace insulation layers, ceramic production systems, glass manufacturing, and metallurgical applications where stable thermal performance is critical. The 3-5mm particle size distribution provides good packing density and structural consistency during refractory production. During manufacturing, strict quality control procedures are applied including raw material inspection, temperature-controlled firing, particle grading analysis, density testing, and chemical composition verification to ensure consistent product quality.
